At Manly Vale Football Club we have been organising community football since 1951! Our first ever juniors team were called the 'Angry Ants' a name which is now feared all across the northern beaches!
As a community today we have lots of local toddlers that are not of age to play in our club yet but are keen on exploring exercise and sport. To help encourage our next generation of Vale legends we have started the Angry Ants Football Colony aiming at U-3, U-4, & U-5’s focusing on social, physical, emotional & cognitive development. The football colony will run Mondays during normal school times and we have 3 classes 8am, 9am, 10am. Our classes will be small capacity with a limit of 12 children per 2 coaches. The goal of the colony is to play games, interact, and challenge children of younger ages. The more children enjoy the games they are playing, the more they are willing to participate and engage on a greater level. With this, it will lead to more confidence, participation, and individual performance.
Manly Vale Football Club is striving to allow children to become independent in a small group, improve attention, develop basic fine motor skills, listening, as well as the simple fundamentals of soccer for future development.

The program is a great way to introduce children to football. The children will work on the fundamental first steps of football in an enjoyable and secure environment.
